Stephanie Donaldson is the Gardens Editor of Country Living magazine, author of many gardening books, blogger and a very hands-on gardener. As a young woman she would leave London at weekends to get her hands dirty and tend some plants. Eventually the lure of the countryside became irresistible and accompanied by five friends she headed for Wales where they set up a commune, milked cows, made hay and grew their own organic food. A long-time believer in organic methods, her expertise in this area led to her co-authoring the Prince of Wales’ most recent book, The Elements of Organic Gardening. Stephanie’s own garden is located in a sheltered spot on the south coast and she also has an allotment nearby where she graciously allows her partner Andrew to share the work!
